Leading is a unique blend of skills than those used for managing or being an individual contributor. These skill must be experienced, contextualized and practiced if you are to improve your company or your overall trajectory.

ENCOUNTER. DISTINGUISH. CONTEXTUALIZE. PRACTICE.

These four conditions must be met to transform into a next level leader. Participants transform throughout the leadership retreat by being guided through each of these four conditions.

ENCOUNTER. Participants will encounter and deeply reflect of leadership attributes, and skills so we can begin to see what can make you different in the way you lead.

DISTINGUISH. Participants will answer ‘What’s different about the way I want to lead?’

CONTEXTUALIZE. Contextualizing is where most leadership development programs fail and where this retreat is different. Participants will learn to embody and live out their particular skills.

PRACTICE. Participants will have a safe place to practice and embody their new and growing skills in a safe space with our fieldwork assignments. 

Participants will experience, learn and practice skills vital to leading at the next level through our Leadership Round Tables, Breakout Sessions, Seminars, Working Groups, Facilitated Networking, Morning Reflections and Fieldwork Assignments.

ASSESSMENTS
Participants can take any number of assessments, including the LEAD NOW! Self-Assessment, LEAD NOW! 360 Assessment, DISC Assessment, Clifton Strengths Assessment or any of a range of assessments recommended by our coaches.

COACHING
Boost participants with individually tailored executive coaching to meet your specific needs.
Price guidance for coaching ranges beginning from $10k for early career leaders and $25-50k for 12 month engagements for experienced executives.

Dr. Nancy McGruder

Nancy has over 20 years of experience coaching at the highest organizational executive levels with an extensive background in education and leadership development.

Nancy minces no words as a C-Suite Coach, going toe to toe with the highest leaders in organizations while sharpening the edges on their leadership tools.

Nancy is on the Faculty for the Dallas Baptist University doctoral program and serves as a mentor for junior leaders. As a Founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women of color build their boards of directors, Nancy is committed to professional, career and personal support.

Nancy has attended and facilitated numerous workshops and retreats over the years.

Dr. Lizette Warner

Lizette is an expert in cultivating executive presence. She has trained and mentored leaders, speakers, and executives around the globe.

Having enthralled small to large audiences, she shares strategies and winning tactics from working with female founders on overcoming stage fright, or imposter syndrome to radiate a powerful commanding presence.

Lizette is on Faculty for UT Dallas’ Executive Education Coaching Program and coaches women in Chief, the largest network dedicated to maximizing the impact of women leaders.

Having attended and facilitated retreats for over 20 years, Lizette nurtures executive presence skills in participants through calm, deliberate practice of high impacts skills in a low-pressure environment.
